    I used a sweet onion instead of yellow, and I used 1 tsp of dried thyme instead of fresh. Both the red and the sweet onions were so good! (If you read the other reviews I also burnt a few onions edges and it almost made it better! Once they started to burn I turned the heat down to 350 degrees. Anyway, VERY GOOD!

    Absolutely, positively scrumptious. Even using all yellow onions, the results were delicious. THANKS, Ina!

    I saw this episode and had to make everything in it. These were fabulous an so easy. Who knew just onions could taste so good??? They have an amazing flavor. I will make them as a side dish for many things now. Definitely try this!

    onions came out wonderfully! I added a little honey to sauce, and it really was a nice touch. It made the sauce a little sweeter and less tangy. Delicious!

    I prefer the yellow onions rather the red ones! But it's unbelievable! ;

    This was a quick a flavorfull veggie for my meal. I served it with the chicken piccata. Very easy. I will say that when it says to use parchment paper.. use it. I couldn't find mine so I used alluminum foil... bad idea. Some of the onions burned.

    I was skeptical of this, at first, but Ina was right - the onions come out sweet and delicious! This recipe could not have been easier. I would definitely make this again.

    I initiall thought this recipe was not for my family. I have never had onions alone as a side dish, but my god this was delicious. My picky teenage daughter and her friend looked at it a little weird at first but ended up loving it and asking for more. I made this with the chicken piccata and buttermilk mashed potatoes and was definately impressed.

    Very tasty for onions and a nice change from your normal veggies.
