This is a great recipe. My daughter, who does not care for traditional iced tea, loves this drink! She is a college student and everytime she comes to my house, she asks for "herb tea". She recently bought the ingredients to make at her apartment. Did I mention that I love it too? It's fun to try different herbal teas (blueberry, raspberry, etc in different combinations.

I treid this recipe with lemon and tangerine herbal teas and really liked the outcome. Ina's formula of 1 part brewed herbal tea (can you can definitely substitute the fruity herbal tea of your choice and apple juice makes a tea that isn't too sweet and syrupy but just right.

As a note to the misinformed poster who gave this recipe 1 star because they didn't believe apple good was nutritional, had they actually read the back of the apple juice bottle they would find that 1 serving provides 100 percent ouf your vitamin C intake. Ina's recipe does dilute that serving but you still get at least 50% of your Vitamin C intake plus whatever added Vitamin C your tea of choice provides. Also one serving is only 60 calories.

I love this tea. It gives me an alternative to the sweet tea I usually make. My family loves it.

This tea was very refreshing. Half tea - half fruit juice. "How bad can that be?" If Ina's food was billed as DIET I wouldn't watch it. I've liked every one of her recipes that I've tried - especially the Lemon Scampi. Keep up the good work, Ina!

I have never liked tea. Wouldn't drink it. Saw Ina make this on her show and gave it a try. Didn't think I would like this either but loved it. Have been drinking it every day. I used apple cider in place of apple juice and also use only one tea at a time. Couldn't fine the tea flavor she used so used the celestial seasonings raspberry zinger one day then the next day I changed over to the celestial sugar plum spice tea. Used the apple cider in both teas. Will try to fine the teas Ina used and try them. Love Inas show.

I really like this 'tea'! The color may lead you to believe that it is going to have an overpowering flavor like a cranberry juice or something, but the flavor is very light. The apple juice sweetens JUST enough, not too sweet at all.
A great summer beverage to keep on hand in the fridge!

This has become my drink of choice!! I brew a gallon of it every three days or so!! I don't think there is anything more refreshing--best of all, no caffeine!

Even my skeptical husband thought this was good. He will only drink iced tea from a jug (yuk!
