Very fluffy and great favor. Served with Ina's Greek Panzanella and Herb-Marinated Pork Tenderloins for a dinner party and got rave reviews! First time using this rice and it turned out perfect.

I make this rice pretty much every week. I usually don't have dill, but always have flat leaf parsley, so mine has green onion and the parsley. Very good, and the leftovers are great with a little Sriracha Hot sauce on top. Hey, try it!

Sorry, but there is no way I can give this "rave reviews" when one whiff and you're turned off! The description for basmati rice is "nutty"..........sorry, I've never known nuts to smell like that........we're talking a very musty, wet newspaper left in the rain type smell.........definately not nutty. I grow as well as use my own dill, curly, and Italian flat leaf parsley.......they smell good. Usually love Ina's recipes but this was a waste of money! Guess you just have to like that smell and taste.......I'll stick with the regular, brown, and wild variety of rice.

I could eat this rice on it's own as a main course. My only problem when I made it (and it could be because of the pans I use was that the bottom layer of rice burnt and formed a crust on the pan when finished. However, I tried the recipe in a rice cooker, adding in the herbs at the end, but it was definately much much better with the pot method despite the rice crust (which actually didn't take much to clean up. Who knew adding a few simple herbs could make this rice so good-- and it can go with almost anything.

A big hit in our household. My better half can't wait to have it again. In fact I think he wanted the tiny bit of leftovers when we got home from a meeting last night. Thanks Ina.

We love fragrant basmati even when it's plain, but this was a treat. It was absolutely delicious. Perfect!

Bf has been craving basmati rice for awhile now and I am not that crazy about it but I finally got around to picking up a bag at the grocery store. This receipe was extremely easy to make and the end result was so delicious. We were only suppose to eat half of what I made but we ended up eating it all and making more the next day. He even said it was so easy to make, that he will be making it on his own as well, which is unheard of haha. I will be making this receipe whenever I feel like white rice with a twist.
