    Besides the taste, the best thing about this recipe is that you can really mess it up and have it taste great a anyway. I think the only ingredient I got absolutely right was the low fat cream cheese. My goat cheese wasn't soft enough, even at room temperature. So I zapped it in the microwave -- it was a little odd mixing it together, but it was okay. Then I forgot I was halving the recipe and put in too much milk. But it was STILL okay. Hothouse cucumbers are not available where I live, but a regular one thinly sliced was okay too. It was GREAT. I can't wait to try it when I don't make so many mistakes.

    Made this herbed goat cheese spread to accompany the roasted tomato and basil soup. My family loved it.

    I used it as a spread for bruschetta/crostini and it was a huge hit at my party. i modified slightly and it was terrific
