I just made this after watching Ina make it on tv. It was so easy I didn't even need the recipe to follow. I didn't have heavy cream so I used half and half and I did not have white vinegar so I used red. This is one recipe where Ina has the salt right (so don't skimp on it. I also used coffee filter to drain the ricotta. Served it plain (no herbs, did sprinkle in fresh pepper and touch more salt on toasted multigrain batard rubbed with garlic. So impressive to say you made ricotta from scratch!

I made it my own... instead of dill I used basil and put sliced roma tomatoes on top... easy and yummy!!
