These were the most delicious granola bars I have ever had. I am a fitness nut and these bars have so many great ingredients for active athletes. I substitute the Splenda Blend Brown sugar for the regular brown sugar and use all organic ingredients. These were a huge hit with my coworkers and my cycling group!

This recipe is tasty and delicious. However, I've made them 3 times and the granola doesn't stick together enough to cut into bars......we ultimately end up eating just granola out of a plastic bag! I've read some of the other reviews and found out that I may be boiling the sugars too long. I'll try to adjust the cooking method next time!

My family and I are the outdoors type. We live in Montana. I make these for them and they can not get enough of them. I like to change the recipe around myself for variety. So I was reading the reviews to get some more ideas. It seems to me that some are wondering why their bars are falling apart. I think that they are boiling the wet ingredence too long. When you do that the sugar in the honey and brown sugar will crystalize when it cools. I slowly heat it. When I see it start to boli, I let it cook for no more than a minute. I hope this was helpful.

I have made these as is a few times and I think they are fantastic! I just started playing around with some variations. Tried walnut, dried cherries and dark chocolate chunks (added a cup of each and the flavors are great. A lot less sweet of course but pretty good. This is a great recipe to play around with!

These were absolutely wonderful! I reduced the amount of honey the first time I made them and will reduce it even more next time. I also cut down the amount of oats and put in more almonds instead. Didn't have the specified dried fruit so used dried cranberries, dried tart cherries and prunes. Tastes GREAT!

My nephew and his wife recently had twins. I wanted to make something healthy that they could grab quickly for an energy boost. I made these granola bars for them, and they loved them! Everyone from their Doula to relatives that had a chance to taste them asked for the recipe. I'll definitely be making them again!

I love these granola bars! They are extremely easy and endlessly adaptable. I have made 2 batches in 2 weeks and each has been a little different. I put chocolate chips on top after they came out of the oven and after they melted I spread with a spatula, I am going to try peanut butter chips and white chocolate next time. Ina is the best!

These granola bars are so easy to make and because you can make them according to your own taste, they are so very delicious! My boyfriend always takes granola bars to work and has them for breakfast with his yogurt. These will replace the store-bought bars that he is used to. I made them with extra almonds and used dried bananas in the mix with some extra coconut. They are absolutely wonderful! I can't wait until we are finished with these to try some other mix-ins. Thank you, Ina!
