This recipe has an awesome flavor. I cut the oil back a bit and also cooked it at a lower temp. (300. It turned out SO great. My kids and husband gave me rave reviews and I know I'll make this again.

Wish I had come here first! This was my first time trying granola and mine burned as well. Glad it wasn't just me. I agree with the lower heat and slightly less oil. Will try again though since I like Ina's recipes.

My first ever making granola and I just love loved it. Used less oil and baked at about 275 degrees so that it didn't burn so fast. I also added sunflower seeds. Super good as a cereal. My husband and brother could not stop eating it. So much better than eating the store cereals.

I have made this recipe several times, the baking temperature is way too high. I bake at 250 for 45 minutes, and use less oil. It is absolutely the best granola. I sprinkle over flavored yogurt and it tastes like pie! It's also good as a cereal.
