Yep, made this gravy along with the Herb Roasted Turkey. Absolutely the most flavorful Thanksgiving we've ever had!

Oh Ina, my girls love to watch your show with me. They keep asking me when we are going to your house for dinner. lol They do not eat gravy but did eat this because I told them it was an "Ina recipe".

I fried a turkey indoors this year so this recipe was a life saver since I didn't have my normal turkey drippings. It was so easy to make and yummy. Thank you from my girls!

This should be named the "Perfect Gravy" recipe...Honestly, it is fabulous and so easy! I made it for the first time for our Thanksgiving meal instead of my usual giblet gravy recipe...I eliminated the brandy and wine, then simply added chopped cooked giblets and sliced boiled eggs to this gravy and it was so delicious that I have permentally discarded my previous "family recipe"! I served it over Paula Dean's Southern Cornbread Stuffing which was also terrific!

This was the best gravy I've ever had. It was so easy to make - actually, it's the first gravy I've ever made by myself. Everyone raved about it and it was gone pretty quickly. Next year I will double or triple the recipe.

zomg...best gravy ever for thanksgiving, would have prefered a larger portioning as i ran out for my family. I used the FULL recipie with cream, hennessy cognac and sweet white wine along with the defatted turkey drippings. 7 stars. This recipe is going to my kids and grandkids. /major kisses

Ina did it again! This gravy is so quick and easy to make and so very tasty. I did not use Turkey drippings, just chicken stock and used salt to taste. I will definately make this gravy again next year.

Awesome gravy! It was a bit salty though. I think my turkey drippings were quite salty to begin with, and I did not adjust the recipe to account for that. I didn't add the white wine, but I did add the whipping cream and the brandy. I don't usually have liquor in the house, so I bought a cheap bottle of E&J brandy and it tasted just fine and only cost $5. I'll make this gravy again next year, but this time I'll use low-sodium broth and won't add the salt until the end.
