Tasty? Yeah! I love this wonderful light dessert which still gives you a nice rich and silky feel without too much of the calories. When on a diet you can leave out the cream, but otherwise great dessert for entertaining, easy to transport if you need to go somewhere and you can make it in advance without baking. I sometimes leave out the citrus or put a little more vanilla depending on the mood. Thanks you for this wonderful find...

This is such a delicious recipe! I looked all over for fromage blanc and I couldn't find it, so I used mascarpone. I had to use a lot more cream because mascarpone is a lot thicker than fromage blanc. That being said, it was so thick, rich, creamy, and delicious.

This was honestly the BEST, prettiest, easiest dessert. I made it for a large dinner party and everyone absolutely loved it. Seriously, I like to bake, but this ridiculously easy recipe got raves like never before. I made the sauce a little different; didn't have framboise so used chambord. It was obviously still delectable. As far as the fromage blanc, Whole foods carries it. I used 3 of the 8 oz containers and could have used 4, but the mascarpone was sitting right next to it...and I ADORE mascarpone. So I used one 8 oz container of that instead of the fourth of fromage blanc. I just can't tell you how gorgeous and delicious this was with some fresh fruit in a bunch of little martini glasses. Perfect summer dessert.

I usually like Ina's recipes, but not this one. Far too much sugar and honey, even though I cut back on both. It was cloyingly sweet. And the sauce recipe also too sweet. After trying a few bites, we pitched it all in the garbage.

As I watched Ina make this I thought Greek yogurt would be much easier to find- wonder if it or marscapone will work? So thanks to all for the info. Haven't made it yet but still giving it top stars as looked and sounds delicious.

Served this to a summertime gathering and it was a huge hit for adults and kids alike. I substituted greek yogurt (as I can't get frommage blanc locally and it worked wonderfully. The rasberry sauce allowed each person to balance the level of sweetness just as Ina says. Thanks again Ina.

Loved it. I didn't have fromage blanc and substituted with mascarpone and it was still fabulous. Such a quick and easy assembly. Thanks Ina.

This is absolutely delicious. I had a dinner party and didn't have time to find the fromage blanc, so I used half Farmers Cheese (the kind of cheese used in blintz and half cream cheese. When I make this again, I think I will use all Farmers Cheese, it was so good. I used twice the vanilla bean, because I love the look and taste of it. The raspberry sauce (with extra Chambord is a must. Thanks, Ina, for another great recipe.
