Made this bread today - it was super easy (using dough hook and rose beautifully. This recipe made two regular size loaves. It has a delicate taste and fine crumb. We ate an entire loaf at dinner and have one to spare for sandwiches. Excellent - will definitely make it again.

My 9 year-old daughter and I made this over the weekend, she and my husband loved it, I thought it was okay. It did not have much flavor and the texture was a little dense for me. I would probably make it again since they liked it so much.

Ina's "Honey White Bread" is so good and easy to make. I hadn't made homemade bread in ages, I watch Ina make this on TV and thought, I can do that, and to my surprise the bread came out just like Ina's and it was delicious. I made my sister a chicken salad sandwich with it and she was overjoyed; she told me that she was spoiled and only wanted Ina's homemade bread from now on. Also, like others wrote follow the recipe especially when it come to the temperature of the water, milk and let the butter cool before pouring it in your dough.
This recipe is perfection.
Thanks Ina

This bread is amazingly delicious. I make it at least once a week, and we never by store bread anymore! Every time I make it it comes out perfectly, and that's saying a lot! One substitution I've often made is to use buttermilk instead of whole milk. It gives the bread a really nice tangy flavor, but it's delicious with milk as well (although I only ever use skim and not whole. Ina is the greatest.

I never leave reviews-but just HAD to for this recipe! This is such a great recipe! I have now made this bread twice and each time it has turned out wonderfully!! I have followed the recipe exactly with great results. The bread is dense enough to be used as sandwich bread, but definitely still light and fluffy. The taste is great. My husband is insisting I only make homemade bread and we stop buying it from the store! SO PLEASED with this bread, I am sure this will be my go-to recipe for a long time!!
