    My entire family loves these meat loaves! Just make sure you get the leanest meat you can find, like ground round, or 90/10. Otherwise, you'll end up with a big puddle of fat on the pan. Also, don't cut the onions too small, they're there to add chuncks of flavor. One other thing, put A LOT of ketchup on the top; it caramelizes and perfectly balances the zing of the Worcestershire sauce.

    I made these for a dinner party and everyone raved. I did make some subsitutions: 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme instead of fresh, Panko bread crumbs, and sirloin instead of chuck. The final dish turned out to be beautiful and full of flavor. Everyone loved the presentation. Thank you Ina, for your simple yet elegant recipes.

    I dont usually like meatloaf but I like this recipe. I add more bread crumbs and less onions. With 3 onions it tends to be all onions and fall apart. Her time is a bit off, I usually take it out early when it looks done. I do add more ketchep to the top that tends to be the winning ticket. Overall it is pretty tasty and everyone asks for more.
