I have tried every meatloaf recipe from every cookbook I own and that is many, Ina's recipe is different as she sauted the onions and spices, which is the secret! All other recipes are tossed, Ina wins!!!Thank you Ina, you cook with such poise and style.

The sauted onions really make this meatloaf. This is so easy and the ingedients are items most have on hand. I watched this episode and happened to be thawing out hamburger meat and decided to try it. I have never seen my husband eat as much as he did when I made this.

These were good, but I'm going back to my old stand-by recipe.

This recipe is somewhat different than my traditional meatloaf recipe, but good nonetheless. My oldest son will like this recipe better than mine, as there are no bell peppers to pick out! My husband thought it needed a bit more catsup or tomato sauce over the top, I agree. Otherwise, it's a good old southern kind of meal. It's easy to make and the individual servings are a nice change from the larger loaf I usually make.

This meatloaf recipe was so easy to make and the flavor was fabulous. I will make this again. Who knows this may become one of our family favorites.

Everyone in my family from age 14 to 64 loved this recipe. I thought the onions would be to much, but they weren't.

This was the best meat loaf ever!! Thanks Ina. I changed one item, too much onion for my family. I cut back to one cup and made it into one large loaf. But, I changed nothing else.
