This recipe is so great! I've been cooking this ever since I watched Ina on TV. I'm bringing this dish to our potluck dinner tomorrow night. I'm so proud of it and I know it tastes good. Wish me luck! 15 people will taste it.

Love Love Love this!!! By far the best meatloaf recipe I've tried, and that's saying a lot! I add a bit of brown sugar to the ketchup topping, but that's the only change I made. I like the topping to caramelize personally. Kudos to Ina, she's tweaked and perfected an American tradition.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. I did use half beef and half Italian sausage and used italian bread crumbs instead of plain. Added a little garlic as well. It was quite moist and tasty and we all enjoyed it tremendously! Thanks Ina!!

Another winter standby for us New Englanders. Mix freezes really well making it easy to make for 2 or 6. The "individual" aspect makes an old favorite a little bit more special and much prettier on the plate to serve. Flavors were delicious and just fabulous with creamy mashed potatoes. Thanks Ina

Simple & Delicious! My 10 year-old daughter's least favorite food WAS meatloaf until I made this recipe. I had complicated the meal in the past by adding lots of seasonings/spices & veggies & sauces that simply did nothing but make my daughter moan & groan when meatloaf was on the menu. Nothing makes it better than this delectable recipe leaving the meat moist & full of flavor. Needless to say, my princess asked for seconds! Thanks, Ina as this has become a fav!

This is a good, all purpose meat loaf recipe ... I substituted recently prepared marinara sauce for the tomato paste and the ketchup topping ... thought it presented a more mellow, flavorful, moist topping.
