This was really good!!! I flavors were great, but they didn't stand out as much as I wanted.

I would put this recipe up there with my all time favorites. I have made it many times for company and have always gotten praises. I serve it with mango salsa. Way to make life easy Ina!

This was excellent and simple. I bought swordfish and came home looking for a different way to cook it. Since it was last minute, I only marinated it for 1 hour or so, and it was great. I could only imagine how fabulous it would taste if I took 4 hours. Next time I will plan it out.

An easy five star rating. My husband just called it the filet mignon of fish. It's all in the marinade, which takes all of 10 minutes (max to prepare. Concerned about some of the reviews which recommended just a few hours of marinading (vs the overnight which the recipe states, I marinated the swordfish for less than three hours and it was delicious. Adding this to the repertoire.

Wonderful recipe - also works great with salmon. However, I didn't use any salt because I find that they soy sauce is salty enough (I love Ina's recipes, but she always uses WAAAY too much salt. My husband went out of his way to praise this dish, which is rare. Even people who hate the "fishiness" in certain fish will love this recipe, because the ginger, soy and garlic hide any fishy flavor. Excellent marinade!

Excellent recipe, even used some of the marinade to flavor the rice we served with the dish, choice of swordfish is excellent. I added some scallions.

I thought this was tasty. Similar to my go-to flank steak marinade. Just be careful on the cooking times. I followed it exactly and I though it was slightly dry even though I didnt tent it. Oh and I did not "salt generously" as instructed due to the soy sauce and it was a good call... A tad bit of salt went a looong way!

Made this tonight. Absolutely fabulous. Will definitely make again.By the way, you can freeze fresh ginger and grate it easily and return the rest to the freezer.
