Ina's recipe(as shown on this siteclearly says refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. If this is wrong then why don't you advise how long to marinate it Anna? Swordfish is not a delicate as other types of seafood, perhaps it does take that long.

tried this recipe last week and it was even better than the original Indonesian Ginger Chicken recipe she modified! i tasted the marinade before adding the fish, and it needed just a little sugar, so added about a tsp... fixed! i only made 2 portions, and i reserved about 1/4 of the marinade for a salad dressing- also worked brilliantly! thanks Ina! =]

I marinated my fish 4 hours. Maybe it was to long. Lemon juice changed consistency of the fish. First thing of Ina's I didn't care for. I split the marinate and used half on chicken, it was great!!

ALWAYS looking for fish recipes and saw Ina make this Saturday. I don't eat swordfish, so I substitued with halibut. I have a hard time grilling fish outside so I used my stove top grill. The marinade made this fish delicious! And even better the next day! I served with green onion-mandarin orange orzo pilaf! YUM!
