The meatballs took me 15 minutes to put together. I made them a little bit bigger, and they were yummy. I made a double batch and froze them for later. I love Ina Gardner. She has shown me almost evertthing can go into the oven to cook instead of using the stove top. Thanks Ina.

Allow abt 2 hrs for prep and actual cooking time, plus, I found out that it thickens after it sits. I served mine right away, I wish I had waited abt 30 min before plating. I felt guilty for not having any sides with it but turns out you don't need any. It is surprisingly filling. We just had bread but you could even do without that. My husband sampled the meatballs before I put them in the soup and said they were good enough to eat on their own so I am going to print another copy of this to have just the meatballs for spaghetti. Also, I couldn't find ground chicken so I used ground turkey, turned out fine.

This soup was fabulous! I had the butcher grind chicken breasts and used turkey "breakfast" sausage. Followed the recipe exactly except for the homemade chicken stock. I used a combination of low sodium chicken broth canned and better than bouillion chicken base dissolved in water. About equal parts of each. The soup base was flavorful but the meatballs stole the show. They were so yummy. I was skeptical but this recipe got such good reviews, so I had to try. I would make the meatballs again to serve by themselves as an appetizer.

I have to say this soup was FABULIOUS! Im a little hesitant about cooking with ground chicken or turkey not a huge fan. But I had to try this it looked so good on TV. My Boyfriend is a soup freak and HE LOVED IT! The chicken meatballs were delicious, juicy and flavorful... I already emailed this to about 4 family members to try. I would recommend this to anyone to try. I record Ina everyday. The best part of her show is she usually makes a dinner and dessert! Shes the best!

Took me longer than expected to make, but well worth it! Will definitely make again. I used turkey sausage because my grocery store didn't have chicken. I used dried dill & parsely (because I'm cheap! adjusting the amounts and it was still delicious. My extremely picky husband said it is now his favorite meal.

I always wanted to make homemade Italian wedding soup and when I saw Ina make this I just HAD to try it! The meatballs are just full of flavor and the broth of the soup takes on such a great flavor with the dill. I served this to my nephew and husband and was worried that soup alone would not be enough for them. They gobbled up the first bowl and went in for seconds! Both of them kept telling me how good it was. Definitely an A+ for this recipe!

We really enjoyed the meatballs but the broth itself tasted like it was missing something.

My absolute favorite soup is Italian Wedding soup and this was absolutely the best I've ever tasted and the fact that it's so easy to prepare made it an instant success. Not being a fan of dill, I simply added a little more fresh parsley, but other than that, I followed it to the letter and it was fabulous! I brought some in for my boss the next day, now he's got the recipe as does one of our clients. I don't even want to think about what I'd do without Ina's recipes!
