Oh. My. Vegetable. I'm 13 and I can make this... And my entire family was blown away by how great this was. Juicy meatballs tantalize your taste buds, while the immensely intense flavor of the soup paralyzes your entire mouth, leaving you speechless and drowned in the soup itself. I've made this many times, and it has not once failed me.

So good, I've made it twice. I was a little doubtful about chicken meatballs, especially texture, but they were great and everyone love it.

Loved it ... very tasty. And my youngest who doesn't love soup, thought the meatballs were great on their own.

This is an excellent recipe. I think much of the flavor and whether it receives high or low ratings depends on what kind of chicken sausage is used. I have used different brands of chicken sausage each time, which changes it, obviously, but always in a way that I truly enjoy. I have never been a fan of dill, but using fresh dill to garnish this soup is fantastic and I wouldn't eliminate it.

I gave this five stars tho I have not tried it yet. I'm sure it's great because Ina rocks most recipes. Although this is not authentic Italian Wedding soup.
Italian Wedding soup meatballs are actually ground Veal, fresh parsley, parm. Cheese, eggs, salt and pepper, little garlic.
In the chicken soup, escarole is the green that's added at the end.
I still have no doubt that Ina's soup will be yummy.

I found myself spooning around the meatballs. I realize that I'm in the minority here, but they weren't really that good. I followed the recipe and used top shelf cheese. The soup was teriffic! Just think I'll use pork next go around.

This soup is great! So easy to make. I make the meatballs much smaller so they are more bite-size and dont need to be cut before eating. They are so flavorful. This soup only gets better the longer it sits, so its perfect for a make a head meal.
