These are just wonderful. Just be sure not to overbake, as they get really hard.
Yum!

I don't rate recipes unless they are absolutely top notch - which these are! They are amazing - don't bother with any other jam thumbprints - these are the ones!
Also, stick a few slices of fresh bread in the container you store your cookies in. The bread will get hard but the cookies will stay soft!

I am a huge fan of Ina's recipes, and this is one of my favorites. I have made them two years in a row for holiday parties, gifts, etc. I use raspberry, blackberry, apricot, peach and pineapple jam in my thumbprints. The cookies are elegant and delicious! Thanks again, Ina :o

These cookies have become a favorite of my family. They have such a wonderful tenderness and such a great flavor combo in the coconut and rasberry that they just haunt you and make you want more , friends and family just rave and there are never any left overs so make an extra batch to squirrel away for yourself....mmmm....so yummy...can't wait to make more and have one with a cup of my favorite coffee...great in the middle of the night too... you will so enjoy these...Merry Christmas...Lazvegzchk

I made these last year and out of all the new recipes I tried, this was by far the prettiest, most tasty cookie recipe. This recipe will go into my collection of Hall of Fame cookies.

Made this around christmastime and now they're a staple christmas cookie. They're rich, but not too rich, sweet but not too sweet...real crowd pleaser.

Last Christmas I made these using my home made jam. I gave them to friends for gifts with an unopened jar of the same jam and it was a hit! I love this recipe.
