THESE ARE DELICIOUS! I make them every year for my teachers; and even the teachers that usually hate coconut love these cookies. They're easy to make and totally addictive.

This is the first year that I baked these cookies to give for gifts to our friends. After watching the show where Ina baked these and delivered them to her friends, I thought that I would give it a try. Well, I got rave reviews, too, and have added this to our family recipe cookbook under favorite Christmas cookies! Thank you! Becky Roberts

These cookies are extremely delicious and beautiful, and actually pretty easy to make. I read some of the reviews before I made these, and noted some of the problems others had with the dough, but I stuck with Ina's exact recipe and they turned out great. The dough was easy to work with. I baked them on a silpat lined baking sheet at 350 for 20 minutes and they were done perfectly. I love the texture of these cookies, and the coconut and jam give them great texture and flavor. I've had other thumbprints in the past and never really cared for them, but these are a completely different experience with the coconut. I will definitely be giving these as gifts!

The cookies look great and taste good. I cooked for 33 minutes and they were slightly a little doughy under the sugar free perserves that I used....but using this gas stove and elevation probably has something to do with it...next time I will cook for an additional 2 minutues.

This cookies is absolutely fabulous! Kudos to Ina. My sister in law hates coconut, so we rolled the dough in sugar and then put the jam in....no where even close to how good it tastes with the coconut. I dislike coconut, but it really makes the cookie! It browns really nice!
