My daughter and husband make this every Mothers Day for me....they make it to recipe except they substitute lobster tails for the whole lobster, and they add corn on the cob (cut in half....this recipe feeds about ten people...and EVERYONE leaves smiling! It is DELUCIOUS!

Very easy to make and delicious! In addition, I added 4-5 cloves of sliced garlic, crabs, Old Bay Seasoning (1 TBS, small cobs of corn, and a whole stick of butter, sliced pats(at the very end of cookingand put the lid on the pot. This was a hit at our clam bakeoff.

I often use recipes from Food Network but never post, until now. I established a user-id just so I can tell everyone how easy and wonderful this recipe is. My 10 yr old son asks me to make this every year for his birthday. Yep, he has good taste! I can easily double/triple this recipe to accommodate the family birthday party, albeit expensive. I can also easily reduce for an intimate dinner with my honey. Effortless and simply delicious. Be sure to have crusty bread on hand to soak up the broth.

This recipe is excellent! It's almost effortless, I even added a layer of corn that I had cut into pieces. Last year I made this for my mother's birthday. It was a huge hit. The next day my mom made the leftover mussels and clams into clam chowder. This year I'm omitting the lobster, but I know we'll still have more than we can eat.

If you are entertaining guests or having a bbq or something - Do this!! It was so much fun. We did it exactly the way she did it on the episode. We served pilsner and stout beer with the lobsterbake. And for the sides, we warmed up baguettes, corn on the cob, and a mozarella/tomato/basil salad. it was so delicious and so much fun. Everyone had a great time. Someone recommended we use up all the delicious broth by adding some pasta and so we did that for a later meal, it was so good. Ina, you are the best!!

Wow!!...the result is far beyond my expectations from this recipe. It seemed too simple to be that wonderful but it was just so, so good! I'll never bother with a traditional clambake again....the leeks and onions along with the white wine flavor everything so fantastically and the sweetness of the seafood really shine as a result.

We use this recipe for 5-6 families every year when we go camping for the last 10 years. We love it! In a pot on the burner. We have a 2 burner stove for camping. It is delicious! It is our once a year weekend camp trip with this as the Saturday night special! Depending on what is fresh at the Seafood Market we may change the ingredients a bit but Lobster Kielbasa, leeks, onions, are always there. The Broth is amazing. We love it!

We have made this recipe for many years on the stove and in the steamer pot outside at the Jersey shore. It is the ingredients (especially the leeks that make it so good. Now we are retired in Florida and we are making it for friends this Friday. Love ya, Ina!!
