I saw an episode in the last few weeks with Ina and lamb and yogurt and got hungry and put looking this recipe up on my to do's. Anywho, looked online and noticed 2 lamb kabob recipes so I toggled between this marinade (and marinated the meat overnight and the contessa's go greek episode. Used her tzatziki recipe (fantasitic! as a dip instead of the sauce on this recipe and since I had no bell peppers, used a paula deen tomato feta salad recipe from her cookbook. Delish.

My Fiance and I made this for a weekend dinner and we loved it! We started soaking the meat in the marinade on Friday and cooked it on Saturday. I really think that helped the meat take on the flavor. I?m sure you could use any meat to make this dish :

Can this dish be made with pork since I don't eat lamb? All other ingredients sound yummy!

My husband and I tried this for Easter and were VERY disappointed. Little to no taste to the marinade.

This was a lot of work but it was absolutely delicious. I didn't serve the tomatoes on the side though, I served them on a skewer, still tasty!

I just made this dish last night for my family and we all loved it. The marinade for the lamb was incredibly flavorful, and easy to put together. I couldn't believe how delicious the grilled cherry tomatoes were. Having these kabobs over the flavorful couscous was a beautiful presentation and a perfect summer dinner. I would definitely make this over and over again! This quick dinner was a hit- thanks, Ina!

I love lamb from Middle Eastern restaurants - but mostly because it's usually very well marinated. The marinade for this recipe was weak for me but if you LOVE the flavor of lamb it delivers. But I wouldn't be able to enjoy without the additional sauce.

My son, who is lamb lover, rated this the best lamb ever. My husband, who is NOT a lamb lover, thought it was excellent. I used a butterflied leg of lamb and grilled it.
