    Very lemony, but too jelly-like. I have lemon trees, so I was on a quest to find the best lemon bar recipe I could. I've tried at least 8, and sorry to say these were good, but they were not the best. My kids and my husband are my testers and they didn't love these.

    This is a wonderful recipe. Family members still compliment me on these - three years after I brought them to a family function. Worth the extra time they take.

    Whenever I decide to add a recipe to my repetoire I make sure I try out a few before I decide and this was the best by far. The crust was light and buttery, the filling tart and sweet. I took them to a b-b-q and they were a hit. One tip...make sure you press the crust high enough up the side of the pan to accomodate all of the filling. I did not do this the first time I made the recipe and had left over filling which I put in a dish, baked and felt forced to eat all by myself :-!

    I have mixed feelings about this recipe. I love them BUT so does everyone else. Now everytime I get invited to a party I have to make these lemon bars. How anyone could rate them 1 star is beyond me - maybe they need to take some basic baking classes. Ina rates them "medium" difficulty - the only thing difficult about them is stopping eating them.

    Made half a recipe and cooked in 8x8" pan. Worked great, but check cooking after 20-25 mins. for burning around the edges. Delish lemon bars that I'd make again.

    Wonderful bars. I made them with fresh lemons from our tree and it turned out delicious. Very lemony and sweet, just perfect. Be careful zesting so you don't get any rind, since I had a slight bitter after taste that must be from zealous zesting.

    I made this for a Mother's Day brunch and they were wonderful. I'm not a very experienced baker so I wasn't exactly sure what "cook unti set" meant, but it turned out great. This is my husband's new favorite dessert!

    The best lemon bars EVER! Lemon bars are one of my favorite cookie/desserts. I decided to try this recipe since all of the reviews were positive. I halved the recipe since it is just my husband and me. Made an 8 x 8 pan, they were amazing! I have tried many recipes for this bar and this by far is the best I have found. Definitely a keeper.

    I love these bars. Quick and easy and very, very good. A little to good (addicting Can't have just one.
    Definitely recommend them.
