My ALL TIME Favorite recipe and dessert! I have made lemon bars using this exact recipe at least 10 times, and they always turn out Amazing. I've also taken them to parties/potlucks and people love them and talk about them weeks later.

Unfortunately I have made my share of crummy lemon bars. Usually the filling is too sweet or the filling sinks into the base of the bar. These are by far the best lemon bars I have ever made. The lemon filling is tart but sweet enough and plentiful. The filling doesn't sink into the crispy cookie crust and I could eat a panful if left alone with them for a weekend!

I'm a very experienced baker. I've been baking for many years. This
Recepie is not accurate, please do me a faverote dont
Waste you're time/ ingredients. Mine was very runny and too sweet. My husband said
Discussing. Ina if you are sharing a recepie do me a faverote and
Don't leave any ingridients out. It's very frustrating. :((

They turned out really great, followed the recipe exactly. But I had more filling than would fit in my pan, not sure what was going on there. I think my lemons were of questionable quality, but the finished bars were still delicious. They'll be even better with a better lemon.

Brilliant. Added 1/3 Cup ground Almonds (personal preference and mixed 1 TBL fresh Lemon Juice to the powdered sugar for a glossy/tangy glaze. Been using Ina's recipe's for 6 years and everyone tastes like it reads. She knows her stuff. Thank you Ina!

These are by far the best lemon bars ever! followed the recipe exactly and am amazed how easy they were to make. I will definitely keep this recipe as one of my "go-to's." You will not be disappointed. I would give 6 stars if I could!

Wow - these are wonderful! Thick lemon custard style filling that cuts and serves perfect. By far some of the best tasting lemon bars ever.

These were by far the best lemon bars I have ever had. Sorry Mom! Full of lemon flavor, and the crust was to die for. YUMMY
