This was the most flavorful, moist chicken ever! I also used skinless, boneless chicken breasts thinking they would get too dry but NO!! The lemon sauce was fantastic and so rich. We served with steamed asparagus and a simple side salad. Ina, you're recipes are simply delicious.....Thanks for a winner, go-to!

Super moist chicken. White wine really adds to this dish as does the fresh thyme and dried oregano.

Personally I am not a big fan of chicken AT ALL!! But my boyfriend loves it, so I made this recipe. I gave it 5 stars because I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I made it with white rice and sautéed green beans, to which I also added lemon zest and it was delicious. With the left overs I made a creamy lemon chicken pasta and it was just so good.
The original recipe came out outstanding!!! I'm making it for my brother next time he comes visit..

    Thanks Ina!

The flavor of this chicken was delicious! We had some rolls that "accidently" were soaked with the sauce. Yum Yum! And the nice thing about the recipe is that it is fast, easy, with the herbs providing a very subtle seasoning. Thanks Ina for your outstanding show and recipes!

I was not impressed with this recipe at all. It was moist, I will give it that, but other than the skin, the rest of the chicken did not have any flavor what so ever and I let it sit for about 3 hours in the garlic-lemon-olive oil sauce before cooking. Wont cook again.

This is one of the best and easiest chicken recipes ever! I've made it many times and it's always a crowd pleaser! Also, if you don't have fresh thyme on hand a tablespoon of herb de provence works wonderfully.

I would have given 5 stars except for the amount of lemon. I know Ina's recipes always have too much lemon for our taste. I usually cut the amount in half and it works just fine for us. Not in this case. My first attempt with the reduced amount was way too tart. Today I tried again with just the zest and juice of 1/2 lemon for 2 chicken breasts. I found that to be perfect. Served with orzo and stir fried asparagus, YUMMY! There is enough sauce left to make another dish. I am thinking sautéed shrimp and pasta. Can't wait!
