The chicken was great. The lemon flavor was in every bite. On the show Ina said the roasted lemons can be eaten as well. I tried them and loved them! So good. This will be a definite go to weeknight meal.

Very delicious and easy! I made this last Sunday and it was a big hit with my boyfriend. I made it with EXTRA garlic. You can't go wrong with lemon, garlic and olive oil with chicken. Very Mediteranean and healthy. I will make this dish again and again. Thanks Ina!

My husband saw this on Ina the other day and said he just had to make it. OMG!!!! This is so fabulous, easy and delish! He used chicken thighs, as he prefers dark meat. The only fresh herbs we had in our garden were basil and thyme, so he used those. I can't believe how delicious the roasted lemon was! I was afraid to try it at first, but one I did, I wished there had been more! This is a definite repeat!
To violatte96...you could just substitute some low sodium chicken broth for the white wine. Good luck with this recipe! You'll love it!

Loved this recipe. The aromas that filled the house were wonderful. I substituted the white wine with chicken stock. The dish really turned out well. I cut the recipe amount in half as I was only making two half-chicken breasts. My husband thought the dish tasted great and wants me to make it a weekly recipe. I will have to teach him to make it as well. I think dried Tarragon might work well as a substitute for the fresh Thyme. I used dried Thyme and as I said, tasted great. Enjoy cooking this recipe, you will not be disappointed!

The chicken has an excellent aroma, however it didn't have much flavor. It's not a bad recipe we just need to make sure use exact measurements, for example the chicken breasts that I used were probably a little big than what it calls for. I guess I'll try it one more time and see how that goes... I served it with herbed basmati to give it more flavor.

I made this last night for dinner after watching a rerun of Ina making this the other day. It turned out fantastic, my husband was raving. We had it with Basmati rice and poured some of the sauce over the top of the chicken and rice. I will make this again, no question!
