made this to go with Giada's pasta primavera, my 5 year old, with a full mouth, said "It's a keeper!"

I used white grape juice instead of wine, and boneless, skinless breasts, so I added more lemon and grape juice, as I did not marinate beforehand. This brought the juices almost 3/4 up the chicken, gave it nice flavor and kept it nice and juicy.

This dish is excellent - full of flavor! I used 1 T of minced garlic, as we don't care for garlic as much as Ina, and upped the lemon juice to 1/4 cup. I marinated the skinless breasts for 5 hours in a Ziplok bag, baked in a 9x9pan. When I first saw the show, I knew I had to try this recipe. You won't be disappointed! The chicken is moist and flavorful - perfect!

This recipe was terrific. Be ready for the garlic- with 9 cloves it's very strong, but we love garlic at my house. I prepared it earlier in the day, put it in the fridge for about 8 hours, then baked. The flavors really had a chance to co-mingle. Even my boys (ages 9 and 13 loved it.

Other than stating that this recipe was fabulous...I do have to say that it's really irritating to see people rating perfectly good recipes with one star. It's really obvious that you can't season your food properly or flat out can't cook. Please don't ruin it for other people. The reason it was bland is because you didn't use enough salt. Do yourself a favor and go buy some KOSHER salt and pour it into a dish by your stove. Throw out your table salt. I'm sure you will notice a huge difference! This will bring out the FLAVOR you have been missing.

Another great recipe from Ina. The sauce was outstanding. Easy dish to prepare ahead of time and pop into the oven when ready. Thanks Ina!!!!!!

Really Good ... the chicken was juicy and soft with a nice flavor .. i served with rice to soak up the sauce ... I used a smaller baking dish so the sauce would come up higher on the chicken as another reviewer suggested (thank you to that reviewer and I marinated the chicken in the sauce about 6 hours before cooking ... because the flavor although yummy is very subtle I definitely recommend marinating so the chicken can draw in the flavor and then you can use the sauce to flavor your rice or veggies instead of needing it to impart flavor on the chicken... This is definitely a dish that can be prepared the night before... The chicken will taste better and the only thing you need to do is pop the dish into the oven the next day for an easy dinner.... I see that other reviewers found the lemon and spices powerful, I did not find this at all perhaps their zester took the white part of the lemon as well as the yellow... This was a very nice dish and I highly recommend.

The lemon and spices were way too powerful. I will need to make some major adjustments to make this work recipe work in the future.
