OMG! This was so yummy and tasty. It kind of has a Greek flavor to it. It was delicious! Everyone loved it and the garlic and lemon are not too over powering. I used chicken thighs and breast and and it was delicious. This is my new favorite chicken recipe now, thanks Ina.

I love Ina Garten! Her lemon chicken breast recipe was wonderful, with a few personal tweaks of course. I have young children so I decided that legs and thighs would be better. I seasoned the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, fresh ground black pepper, and basil because I did not have any thyme. I applied a liberal amount of olive oil to the chicken and placed it in the oven. The skin of the chicken browned to the perfect crispness and the lemon flavor subtly penetrated the chicken to the bone! Everyone ate seconds and my husband couldn't stop complimenting the chicken. I will be making this recipe again real soon!!!

This is a favorite in our house!!! It's very similar to a childhood favorite of mine and my fiance absolutely loves when I make it!!! I think it's great for a weeknight meal OR serving to friends when we have them over. I have made it for friends and they ALWAYS want the recipe. We typically serve it with roasted garlic potatoes, carrots and a great bottle of wine and never miss!

Ina is right- this is a super easy dish, perfect for a tuesday night. It's not stellar enough however to serve to guests, but great to have in my arsenal. The only down side is that I typically don't have fresh thyme on hand and probably won't want to buy it for this dish. Next time I'll make it with dried thyme for a truly tuesday night dish!

I just found this recipe today and I made it tonight. It was so good! My husband and kids loved it too. It was so moist and the sauce was delicious. I will be making this again and again.

Wow. Just Wow. Super easy and so delicious. Served with steamed rice and roasted brussel sprouts. I had large breasts so cut them in half the long way to create two thinner pieces from each breast. I can't normally find boneless chicken breast WITH skin so I used boneless/skinless breasts and it worked out beautifully. Will definitely make again and again.
