My family loved this dish, and it was quick and easy to prepare after a long day at the office. Even the discriminating thirteen-year-old asked for seconds! I might want to cut back on some of the lemon rind and add some garlic and white wine, as one reviewer noted. Thanks! This is a summer "keeper"!

Love it and it's easily changed up with other ingredients; basil, mushrooms, asparagus, etc.
Ya know, if you're going to criticize a CHEF you should at least learn how to spell CHEF and RECIPE.... LOL

I was so sad that this didn't come out as expected. The shrimp was good, but we didn't like the pasta, unfortunately. I followed the recipe exactly and the pasta lacked flavor. I absolutely love Ina and her recipes, so I look forward to trying more of Ina's recipes soon! :

The best part about this recipe is that it's great 'as is', but you can jazz it up as much as you want and make it really memorable. For instance, this time I melted the butter with a little oil and garlic and zest and let that sit and infuse while the pasta cooked. I also added some capers and then topped the finished dish with fresh asiago cheese. Next time I might add some sauteed mushrooms and broccoli for a veggie factor. Great dish.

Don't blame Ina,
because your to dumb to taste.
What do all the chiefs say? taste it before

I was reading some of the reviews, & can't believe that some were downing Ina. She is a wonderful cook. She also cooks dishes the average cook could easily prepare. I love everything about her. Ina did not invent shrimp & pasta but neither did any chef or cook alive today. Ina you rock !!! keep on cooking I'll be right there with you !!!

I only added juice of one lemon, about 1 tsp. finely grated lemon rind and 1/2 tsp. garlic. I also added 1/2 c. White wine and let it reduce a little. Very tasty!
