OMG: This cake is so wonderful and lemon-y. It has just the right balance of lemon. In contrast to a previous review, I did not find this cake oily at all (maybe you mis-measured. It was simply perfect, and I will make it many times. As recommended in the video, I let the eggs and other ingredients come to room temperature before making, and mine came out perfectly! Thank you, Ina!

very easy to make, however, it was extremely oily and moist and doesn't have a strong lemon flavour either. I would rather have a lemon cake that actually tastes of lemons.

Full confession: I didn't get to taste this. Made this as a gift (without the topping and my friends sent back photos of themselves eating it and said it was delicious! Can't wait to try it myself next time...further review from my friend said it could use more lemon zest and was just a hair too moist, but still really good. Very easy, by the way, and watching the video was helpful.

Fluffy and moist, lemon flavor is refreshing, not oversweet at all. And super easy to make, takes no more than several minutes. I can eat the whole loaf by myself!
