    I was really excited to try this recipe, but wasn't very happy with the end result. Some of the reviews on here said that the cake was airy and fluffy, but mine was dense. I will probably try a modified version of this in the future.

    I tried this because my daughter and I love lemon. It was the most amazingly lemony moist loaf. Now her employes have me make it for treats. SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOd

    making this for my parent's anniversary, super simple! I added coconut oil for extra moistness, and instead of lemons, I substituted clementines, since I didn't have anything else. Fingers crossed!

    This cake is super yummy and easy to make. I love lemon anything pretty much, and this cake delivers on taste and texture. slight crunch on the outside, fluffy and light on the inside. Friends and family loved it. Great Recipe!!

    Had some extra lemons and was browsing through my saved Food Network recipes, so I gave it a try. It was moist and very flavorful and a real family hit. The only thing I did do was to poke a few holes in the warm cake when I poured on the lemon sauce so that it saturated the cake a bit more. Would definitely make again!

    This was absolutely delicious! Very light, moist and flavorful. I had a mishap the last time I made it. I put the batter in the pan and in the oven before I realized that I had somehow forgotten the oil. I poured the warm batter back into the mixing bowl and added the oil and mixed it. I was worried that I had ruined it but it was perfect. This is definitely my go to lemon cake.
