this was a great dish, not many leftovers, I used fettuccine noodles, but any would work, I suggest making the noodles before cooking the shrimp.

We thought it was too lemony & not enough liquid to cover the pasta. I made a 1 1/2 lbs of spaghetti doubling the recipe. I could only use 1 lb due to it being so dry. We had just enough. I like the wine/butter/cheese scampis I guess better.

I never had great luck with pasta - would end up getting clumpy and sticky right after draining but adding that little bit of oil to the water really made the difference for me! We love scampi but the pasta would always disappoint - Not any More, Thanks Ina :

The recipe was great, very easy and very delicious. Even my husband who is not a big seafood fan, loved it! The only change I made was use dry parsley flakes instead of fresh chopped parsley. I think next time I'll throw in a little grated parmesan before serving.

Super easy, lots of fun. Tastes great, will absolutely make this a regular. Could be lighter on the butter.

Wonderful meal. At least as good (or better than anything I've had presented in a restaurant. Did Giada's Caramelized Pancetta and Fennel Salad, finished off with Ann's Cinnamon and Orange Creme Brulee. Wife is now very grateful she broke her arm the week before Valentine's day! I'm a firm beleiver that the first time with a new recipe should be by the book - alter later, if you like, but try the real thing. I might add some sliced Kalamatas, but otherwise I'm tossing any other recipes. My thanks to the Contessa...
