Love this recipe. I did cut back on the lemon, I wouldn't recomend leaving it out. It really added a freshness to the dish.

When my wife and I sat down to eat we took one mouth full and said "a keeper"
We loved it and very easy to prepare.
Wasn't sure about the lemon but it sure fooled me.

This is a tasty and simple recipe. Like many of the other reviews suggested, I cut down on the salt using only about 1 teaspoon and I also cut down the lemon using only about a lemon and a half and left out the rind and the lemon rings and this dish turned out amazing. My husband couldn't stop raving. This will be a keeper in our home for a long time to come.

I was impressed how good this turned out. However, I did use less salt and less lemon juice, and it was still delicious. I will make this again!

I used only 1 tsp. salt, juice of 1/2 lemon, no zest, no cayenne and it turned out great. More butter less olive oil ratio lets the garlic and shrimp flavors come through. I used frozen precooked large shrimp and it really made it quick to fix.
