Made this for friends and all I can say is WOW. Incredible. The lobster flavor was through the roof and really just took the mac and cheese to a whole entire new level. We will absolutely make this dish again!

My family of four LOVED this dish. My girls think the world revolves around Mac and Cheese. This dish was a nice treat for the adults in the house. I'd highly recommend this for entertaining, ie grandparents, another family with young kids. Easy and yummy...and the kids will eat it up! What more could a mom ask for?

I found this to be an excellent dish! The first time that I made this I used Langostine lobster tails. Which can be purchased in the frozen Seafood section of most Supermarkets.I had bought these as I am on the go alot! Instead of rushing out to the store, (to buy freshI bought these. If you have a busy schedule, and have never had Langostine, they are sweet and succulent! Just set them in the fridge to thaw, and in a matter of hours you will be ready to make this (or you can keep them in the sealed package and set into a cool bowl of water. I also cut down the serving size, when I made this the first time.Anyway this is "excellent" comfort food, with creamy sweet goodness in every bite! P.S. I like the Langostine (Vs. Lobster, as the sweet flavor tends to come through more.

This was easy to make and so delicious! I made this for my fiance and his family and they loved it. I added more sharp cheddar to the recipe than it called for and it turned out delicious! I highly recommend making this if you are having 4-6 people over for a decadent meal.

I tried this recipe out of curiousity. Fresh lobbster does not need to be disguised in cheese and pasta. Flavor was lost. Elegance was lost. Next time, I will serve the macaroni and chees on the side.

I was looking for a recipe that would suit not only adults with a sophisticated pallet, but children as well. This was a Valentine's Day hit all around. This was absolutely fantastic! Be sure to use fresh cooked lobster, and par cook it about 3/4 of the way...the baking will take care of the rest, and it will be cook just right! Simply wonderful! THANK YOU INA! 10 Stars.

I made this recipe for the first time a couple of months ago. Since I don't have the luxury of buying lobster often because of the outrageous price, I substituted crab meat. I bought the claw meat packaged in the little packages. I used about three total since they don't have a lot in them. I followed the rest of the recipe exactly and it was still amazing with crab! My family went back for thirds! However, it doesn't keep well so be sure to enjoy it fresh!

This recipe is astonishingly good. May send my cholestorol over the top, but Lobster was on sale yesterday. I think the cavatappi pasta really makes a difference. It just looks so upscale.
