Ingredients

  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1/2 jigger gin
  • 1/2 jigger vodka
  • 1/2 jigger white rum
  • 1/2 jigger tequila
  • 1/2 jigger Cointreau
  • 1 jigger fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar syrup (see note)
  • Cola
  • Lemon slice, to decorate

Directions

Put the ice cubes in a mixing glass. Add the gin, vodka, rum, tequila, Cointreau, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Stir well, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Add enough Coca Cola to fill the glass, and decorate with the slice of lemon.

Note: To make sugar syrup, heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves.

    Smooth and Potent...

...as a Long Island Ice Tea should be. I substituted the Cointreau for Triple Sec (which is 1/10 the price) after a tip from... another shopper in the grocery isle. EXCELLENT INA!Read more

    Drink With Care!

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
My parents have been making this recipe for years! It's wonderfully delicious and tastes, believe it or not, like just plain... old iced tea which is what makes it so dangerous. Drink more than one and I guarantee you, you'll be seven sheets to the wind and more. One is enough, just remember that. Thanks Ina for sharing my mother's favorite drink!Read more
