I have tried many chicken tortilla soup recipes, and as easy as it is-this is my favorite! It's great served with the baked flour tortillas.

I thought this recipe was very easy to follow and the taste was magnificant! I knew my guests enjoyed the meal because they each asked for seconds.

I made this a few weeks ago and my family loved it. We didn't talk during the whole meal except to say, "MMMMMMM" and "YUM!!"
Easy to make and I had enough left over to freeze.

I made this recipe when I wanted something easy to make but had some pizazz. This did it. Best of all, it has a great Mexican flavor. I might add some canned corn next time.

Yummy! the only bad thing I have to say is that there wasn't enough chicken and it was dry. It makes a lot of the soup, but two chicken breasts is just not enough. Next time I make it, I will buy a whole roasted chicken, shread it and add it. Other than that the flavor in this soup is wonderful. Thanks Ina!

Great soup to make on the weekend and reheat during the work week! I used all chicken thighs instead of breast meat (we all love dark meat. Instead of the tortillas, I added about 1/2 cup (dry of tiny soup pasta. Used Pacifico organic broth (2 quarts which was yummy! I plan to make this again when the family descends for the holidays!

Wow! This soup has so much flavor. I bought a rotisserie chicken at our local market and just shredded the meat off the bones instead of cooking my own chicken, saved a lot of time. I used 3 jalepanoes for just the right kick, I like it hot. I skipped out on the corn tortillas because I like to add lots of tortilla chips in my soup instead. I topped my soup with all the toppings and I wouln't do it any other way. Great for a nice cold day.
