This is one of the best Cakes I have made. Fast, Easy and Yummy!!! Agree with everyone on the cookies being expensive but the end result is DELICIOUS! All my friends loved the cake- one of my favs too... Thanks Ina.

This was delicious and so easy to make. I used the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies - killer.

I love making this scrupmtious dessert ~~ I LOVE Trader Joe's Highbrow CC Cookies. They work perfect and they are delicious right out of the box as well. I found Tate's CCC's at Whole Foods. They were VERY EXPENSIVE for less than 10 cookies and I would need 4 or 5 pkgs. to do this recipe right. Making your own thin cookies, rolling out thin refrigerator brand or using Alton Brown's Thin CC Cookie recipe will work fine too. All depends on your budget - harder to justify pricey products when retired. Everyone should make this recipe! It is a KEEPER! Thanks Ina!

WOW! This was SO easy to make, and was quite the hit with company.
I made only 4 layers, and it was enough.I was lucky to find the cookies mentioned at a grocery store, although you can buy them on line. Make for a special occasion, as this is an expensive and not for the dieter dessert.

We couldn't find thin chocolate chip cookies, so we crushed some regular sized ones up instead. It was fabulous!! The whipped cream was amazing and delicious!
