This was a huge hit for my sister's birthday!!! She wanted me to make an eggless tiramisu and I thought this was a good substitute. She loved and so did everyone else. The best part was the mocha cream, the recipe is spot on. I also found the recipe for Tate's cc cookies online and made them myself. They turned out exactly as described, thin and crispy.

This was delicious and so easy to make. I used the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies - killer.

I love making this scrupmtious dessert ~~ I LOVE Trader Joe's Highbrow CC Cookies. They work perfect and they are delicious right out of the box as well. I found Tate's CCC's at Whole Foods. They were VERY EXPENSIVE for less than 10 cookies and I would need 4 or 5 pkgs. to do this recipe right. Making your own thin cookies, rolling out thin refrigerator brand or using Alton Brown's Thin CC Cookie recipe will work fine too. All depends on your budget - harder to justify pricey products when retired. Everyone should make this recipe! It is a KEEPER! Thanks Ina!

WOW! This was SO easy to make, and was quite the hit with company.
I made only 4 layers, and it was enough.I was lucky to find the cookies mentioned at a grocery store, although you can buy them on line. Make for a special occasion, as this is an expensive and not for the dieter dessert.
