It is easy to prepare and it is so tasty! I made my own version of "preserved lemons" since I did not have them and the stores near by did not carry them.
I cut the salt to half a teaspoon since the first time was a little too salty.
I love this recipe so much, that I have prepared it several times and I have it memorized already!

This recipe will really impress. I've tried it w/ preserved lemons and with fresh (using both the juice and pulp. With Saffron and w/ only extra tumeric. And I honestly like it better without the preserved lemons...too salty. I always serve it with boiled cubed potatoes. My guests and family love, and so do I. As has been said you do have to plan ahead for the marinating, but I've marinated for only 4 hrs and it turns out great too. Definitely a 5! And always think of it when I need something that has to impress. The presentation is beautiful. Romaine salad w/ Feta as a side ~ Bon Appetite!

This turned out great! I made my own preserved lemons but didn't realize it needed to set in frig. for at least 4 weeks so it added to much salt and bitterness but I fixed it by adding more spices and diluting it w/water. The recipe should have mentioned how long to preserve. But other than that it was so amazing! I know next time it will taste purfect.

Amazing! I used a cut up kosher chicken to satisfy the picky eaters in my house. Also used the tumeric & safron thread substitution and a mixture of Spanish and kalamata olives for texture and color... and too time crunched to go to different markets. Move over Chicken Marbella - there's a new favorite in town!

This was so delicious! I made my own preserved lemons because they did not have any at my local grocery store. Our dinner guests were wanting to drink the left over sauce straight out of the pot. We served it with a side of couscous which was nice because it absorbed all the delicious flavors of the juice

I loved this recipe. A little hard to find the preserved lemons so I guess I need to make them now so I'll have them the next time I want to make this. For the person who asked if the recipe called for 1 - 2 wedges or 1 - 2 lemons, I just got through watching the episode again and they used 1 lemon which was cut into six wedges.

I made this recipe and it was DELICIOUS!!! The Chicken Tajine was packed with flavor. The preserved lemons were easy to make. I also added some pickled lemons I got at a specialty food market.
