    Even without the nuts and currants, this recipe is delicious. One recommendation..it seemed that the couscous was a little sticky/too much liquid. I might suggest cutting back maybe 1/4 cup or so because it didnt really "fluff" up, more like stuck together. But the taste compensated!

    I made this recipe with a little bit of hesitation because of some bland reviews.
    I was very pleasantly surprised, my guests said this was the best couscous they had ever tasted and I would have to agree. The flavors were simple, yet distinct. I will definitely put this one in my files, and I am very picky.

    Fabulous recipe. Easy to prepare. Great aroma. All around well balanced flavors from pine nuts and currents (and I'm not a huge fan of currents OR pine nuts. Will put this in my "make this once a week" catagory.

    I made this to accompany the chicken with 40 cloves of garlic, while it paired good for the most part, I thought it lacked something, so next time I will add homemade stock instead of canned.

    I served this for a "Casablanca" movie night. All Morracan. The couscous, with a carrot salad from this site, and lamb kabobs. Everyone loved it.
