Loved this recipe! I've been looking for the perfect mulled wine recipe for awhile. This is perfect because it does not require you to purchase another type of alcohol or wine that you potentially won't drink (Port. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and spic. I had a little left over from the first night and couldn't stop thinking about it the next day!

I absolutely love this recipe! It has the perfect amount of sweetness. It is even BETTER the next day and the day after - if you can resist from drinking the whole pot the first day. I accidentally used apple juice instead of apple cider - my boyfriend bought the wrong one - and it's still good. Ina Garten is my go-to person for delicious and perfect meals.

This was fabulous! The flavors are so warm and comforting and it has just the right amount of sweetness. My daugher and I practically finished off the whole pot ourselves. I did use good unfiltered apple cider and I do believe that it made a big difference in the outcome. Since I can rarely find the good stuff here where I live I bought extra to freeze so I can make this often, it's just that good. Will be making more today and sticking it in the fridge to warm up whenever I want a cup. Try this recipe, you won't be disappointed!

I have only had mulled wine a few other times and at least half of those I did not like (too sweet or too much spice. This recipe tastes fantastic!

This was terrific and so easy to make. We just returned from Paris and it tasted just like the Vin Chaud we had there too. Wonderful winter beverage to offer during the holidays.

Great flavor using a Cabernet. Added an additional cinnamon stick, and modified it a bit with some allspice as well. Came out great!

Absolutely loved it. Reminded me of Christmas Markets in Vienna (served it in the mugs they sell you too! Easy to make, works well to impress, and everyone loves it. Definitely something to try!

Fantastic mulled wine! I boiled the juices and spices (in a cheesecloth bag and then added the wine to simmer. I also added about a cup of brandy to give it a little more kick. Everyone at Christmas dinner loved it!
