Absolutely loved it. Reminded me of Christmas Markets in Vienna (served it in the mugs they sell you too! Easy to make, works well to impress, and everyone loves it. Definitely something to try!

Fantastic mulled wine! I boiled the juices and spices (in a cheesecloth bag and then added the wine to simmer. I also added about a cup of brandy to give it a little more kick. Everyone at Christmas dinner loved it!

Loved it! I let it simmer for longer than it said, about 40 minutes. I also added a splash of brandy and omitted the cloves as I did not have them. Awesome.

Everyone really loved this and it was very easy to make. I didn't have some of the "whole" spices and just put the powdered ones in. It makes it a little cloudy, but still tastes great.

Tried this recipe for our traditional Christmas Eve party. Started the cider, spices, and orange juice on high in the crockpot around 3:00 in the afternoon. Created a little cheese cloth bag for the spices to keep the sediment down--worked just fine. After the cider came to a boil in the crockpot, I cut the heat back to low and added the wine, letting it steep a few more hours until about 8:00 pm. Only one word to describe it: WOW! The ingredient that really gave it the WOW factor was my own homegrown, homemade blackberry wine. OUTSTANDING. Mulled blackberry wine will be part of our Christmas Eve from now on!

Excellent holiday beverage. I thought that it might be a little too sweet but not so. Perfect amount of sweetness. I bundled up the cloves, star anise and orange zest into a cheesecloth, added everything to my crock pot and set it on low. Heated up perfectly.

We've made this every year for the past several years and it's now a tradition at our holiday parties, as well as special evenings in during the holidays. We put this in the crock pot with the lid on, often making two batches at a time.
