I made this over the holidays with halibut. "OMG" my younger siblings who complain about everything ate almost the whole thing!!! This was the simplest most delicious fish I have ever had. Thanks Ina for bring Fish to the home table:

Once again, Ina hits it out of the park. My husband and I were looking to branch out in the fish department since we mainly eat salmon at home. I tried this recipe using grouper because red snapper was unavailable. I halved the recipe for two fillets and went for it. It was outstanding! And easy! My husband loved it. I may even try this recipe on the my two sons.....Thank you Ina, you are awesome.

I have made this recipe many, many times. It's simply wonderful. Even people who say they don't like mustard like this dish. I usually serve it with roast potatoes (the sauce from the fish is great with them and grilled or roasted asparagus. I have also served it with Ina's roasted tomatoes from the same cookbook. Grouper and snapper are both excellent for this.

Made this with Grouper last night. baked it for 20 min. Came out flavorful and tender. Added a touch of garlic to the shallot mixture. Also rinsed the capers and halved the amount. Paired with a cold glass of Chardonnay. Yum!

You can't miss with this dish! It couldn't be easier, and the sauce works with any white, flaky fish -- tilapia, snapper, halibut -- just adjust the roasting time for thicker cuts. It works best with creme fraiche, but if you can't find it, sour cream is nice too.

My family has this dish very often. We love it! For some reason, I am not able to buy creme fraiche in my area so I substitute the creme fraiche with Duke's mayonaisse. I have recently found a recipe to make creme fraiche and I am excited about trying it the way the chef intended.

A little disappointed, expectation was greater that the result. Would not try it again.
