This recipe is outstanding/"fire" as the kids would say. I love you barefoot contessa. Thank you for all your recipes.

This is the best apple crisp recipe anywhere. I have tried so many different variations and this recipe is the best by far. My husband had one serving and couldn't resist to eat it all over a weeks time. Had to buy more vanilla Hagen Daus to go with it. So yummy, you will make it over and over again. Love this recipe. Thank you Ina!

This recipe is fantastic! Easy to make and everyone always loves it. The lemon and orange zest mixed with the sweetness of the cinnamon and sugar really set this crisp apart. Make sure to use the apples Ina suggests so they do not turn into mush as it bakes. Excellent!

This was good. I liked the hint of lemon and orange. However, the spice was too much for my liking. Icecream neutralized it a little but without icecream, the nutmeg and cinnamon totally overtook the palate. I'll make again but I'll use much less of the spice.

This recipe is worth every calorie!!! More than enough topping and enough apples to give you a true apple treat. Was a big hit with even the finicky eaters at a family gathering.

I would completely omit the orange rind & juice. It totally kills the apple flavor & all you can taste is orange. I was very disappointed but will make it again without the orange. The crumble is AMAZING so I wouldn't change that at all.

LOVE the orange and lemon! Gives it an unusual but delicious flavor. Kids and old folks loved it.
