I've made this several times, for my family and for friends at potlucks. It is so easy to make, the flavors are wonderful. The citrus makes it taste very fresh and bright, no one can figure out why this tastes different than what they are used to and I'm convinced it's the citrus. The only change I made was to cut the citrus in half for my taste. I've always loved my mother's recipe, but I have to say this is even better!!!!!

This is one of the best recipes I've ever tasted. I am making two pies for Thanksgiving. The zest adds the perfect touch! LMG

Recently took this to a dinner party which included children and adults. It was devoured with gusto. Served it with French vanilla ice cream, and used only cinnamon, no nutmet. Definitely a keeper.

This is an excellent recipe! I only had half of the apples and decided to add a couple of cups of frozen blueberries. I also didn't have oatmeal so I made the topping without it and cut the sugar in half (per other reviews. It came out better than expected - thanks, Ina!

I made this wonderful dish just this morning and it was wonderful although I will cut back on the sugar a bit, way to sweet for my taste. I ate it while still quite warm...yummmm.

I loved this desert! The orange and lemon flavors make this apple crisp special. I will deeefinately make this dish again but I will cut back on the sugar in the topping.
