I followed the recipe exactly, but after turning the cake out on the cooling rack there was a large, wet uncooked area--put it back in the oven for 10 additional minutes, let it cool 15, turned it out--same thing. Very disappointing.

Great recipe. Easy to whip up with standard ingredients. The only thing was that the frosting was a bit sweet; I would have liked a bit more less sugary taste, so will use a bit less powdered sugar and more cream cheese next time. But overall, really, really good. Both myself and my boyfriend LOVED it.

Loved it!!!! I agree with all the other reviews...quick, easy and so moist. I only made half of the frosting and it was perfect for just the top of the cake. I did not put walnuts in the cake but did sprinkle some finely diced walnuts on top of the frosting for additional texture and a pretty look. Will DEFINITELY be making this again as a cake, or as one reviewer mentioned, muffins.

I made cupcakes, and I love the flavor the orange zest gives the cake. This is better than banana bread. It is so moist and soft. Delicious!!! I put almonds, brown sugar, and cinnamon in the processor for a crumbly topping before they went in the oven, and it baked in beautifully. It was much easier to transport the cupcakes without frosting. This is a new favorite.

Not super sweet. It is a nice snack/dessert treat. Reminds me of banana bread. I did not use walnuts.

Was easy to prepare. Included chopped walnuts in the batter. Used ten walnut halves (one per slice to decorate frosting. Lots of compliments. Better than banana bread!
