This was the most amazing ham I have ever fixed! I did not use a spiral sliced ham but instead just a full ham that I scored creating diamond patterns across the top, added the glaze the last 1 hour of baking time. One thing to remember......the glaze will burn and create the biggest, stickiest mess if you do not line your pan.....Overall a great moist ham!

Not what I expected. Unfortunately just pouring a glaze over the ham doesn't really allow it to penetrate the meat and influence the flavor or texture of the meat . For that effcect you need to inject the flavoring into the meat. Also, there is no way to fully heat a 15 pound ham at 350 degrees in one hour....maybe two, mine took 2 1/2 hrs to be done.
The combo of the mustard and Orange is an acquired taste, kids turned their noses up at it, some adults liked it, some thought it was just OK.

Once again, Ina has come through for me and made my gathering a success. Everyone loved the ham. I made a mistake and bought a ham already glazed with honey and brown sugar but it only enhanced the orange and dijon mustard flavor. Prepared this recipe along with the cranberry fruit conserve for my turkey and Ina's chocolate cake. Everything was 5 stars!!! And so easy to prepare.

I made this last Christmas...but used Trader Joes mango ginger chutney instead of orange marmalade....the ham was amazing!! Also served the extra glaze as a sauce on the side with the ham. I am not a big cook at all...my family was impressed & it was so easy...love love love this recipe!!

THE BEST ham in the world!!! Be sure to bake long enough so it gets really, really browned and gooey and a little crispy. This is one of those recipes - - after you've had it once, you crave it forever. Hmmm - - seems like most of Ina's recipes are like that! My favorites - - Croissant Bread Pudding, Engagement Roast Chicken, Homemade Gravy (the one with cognac.
