Loved it! I saw a recipe where you cut out an orange to look like a jack-o-lantern. I filled it with a slight variation of this recipe. I was too lazy to strain - so it started oozing out the cutout mouth. Kinda cute.

Made this tonight for a baby shower brunch tomorrow. Hmmm, should have made a double recipe because I am really wanting to eat a big bowl right now -- and I haven't even added the walnuts and raisins yet! Very yummy.
Only changes I made were: used French Vanilla from Stoneyfield Farms because they didn't have regular vanilla (I still added the vanilla extract, no orange zest cuz I had no oranges, and I used Just Orange High Pulp Grove Style orange juice instead of fresh squeezed.
I typically don't touch yogurt for breakfast because it has a too sour taste, but this would be something I would be all too willing to eat on a regular basis for breakfast.

I make this every chance I get! i use raw honey instead of the regular honey. I make batches of this and keep in fridge, I love how simple the recipe is yet so delicious! Ina Garten always has wonderful recipes.

I substituted greek yogurt and did not have to drain. I also eat for noon meal, mix with banana or apple and several peacans for a light lunch.

And so easy! Tastes just like an orange dreamsicle from my childhood. Be aware that draining the yogurt reduces the volume significantly. I was making for weekend guests, and should have doubled the recipe. Definitely a keeper!

What a terrific recipe, and so easy to customize. I used plain, low-fat yogurt and drained it overnight. I substituted sliced almonds for the walnuts and cut down on the amount of orange juice. The fabulous edge to this recipe is the fresh orange zest. I think you might convert non-yogurt lovers with this recipe, just as I converted my husband, who asked for seconds! Thanks, Ina, for another great dish.

I can't rave enough about this deceptively simple but utterly delicious yogurt. Draining the yogurt overnight leaves the yogurt much thicker and creamier--similar to Greek yogurt. The orange taste is there but not overwhelming. I didn't find it too sweet, but I could see cutting down on the honey a tad. The chewy raisins and crunchy walnuts add much needed interest. Just loved this recipe. Ina rules.
