Seriously the BEST brownies ever!!!! They are just outstanding, this will always be my brownie recipe. I only used 1 1/2 T. of coffee granules because I was making them for kids and adults, they came out perfect!! I used my big cookie sheet and no problems!

Very tasty Brownie! It makes a lot so I cut it in half, which was perfect for our family. Also I omitted adding extra chips along with the walnuts because I prefer not to have chunks of chocolate in my brownies. Besides these slight alterations to suit my tastes I would recommend this recipe very highly to anyone.

This is the Best Brownies I have ever made! I stopped using brownie mixes and just stored the dry ingredients to this recipe in a bag and whipped it up whenever my family wanted something chocolaty.

I have made these brownies more than twenty times. I LOVE them. You can taste the coffee in them, which I don't mind, but I still half the coffee amount. They are very rich, fudgy brownies. I don't like to choke down a cakey dry brownie. Also I don't make them in the pan requied, I cook them in a big huge pyrex dish because I have made them in there before and know they will fit. They are one of the best brownies ever.

I've watched Ina make these & wanted to try them. I've heard her say that 'you can't taste the coffee flavor', but that the added instant coffee boosts the chocolate flavor. Eh...yes, the coffee flavor really comes through, and we're not coffee lovers..You might want to try using semisweet baking chocolate instead of unsweetened. These really don't need the 12 oz bag of semisweet chocolate chips, either. They need to be sweeter, because as they are, they're actually bitter. You also might want to line the sheet pan with parchment for easier handling.

These were very good brownies if you like them fudgy . I, however, prefer a more cakey brownie so I'll keep looking for a good recipe. My wife loved them though. I followed the directions to the letter. The dimensions of the baking pan are unusual. My next door neighbor is a caterer however, and saved the day.

These brownies lived up to my expectations. I gave them a twist and actually added 3/4 cup of melted dark chips stirred in before putting the batter in the pan and it gave the brownies an even richer moister taste. I used the best chocolate I could find and the recipe even without my tweak is my best brownie recipe. Thank you

These are kind of expert making brownies, but it is absolutely worth it. These brownies are divine. Thanks Ina. I love your show here in Puerto Rico.

I thought these would be good to take to a Superbowl party. First off, mine had to bake a few minutes longer. As others mentioned, my pan also had a lot of grease when I took them out and the bottom of the brownies were almost wet. At first I wasn't going to take them to the party, but felt I spent the money on all the ingredients, so went with it. It turned out many people loved them. I guess I'm just not a huge brownie fan as I didn't really care for the taste and texture, but they ended up being a hit.
