    The chicken was very moist, crusty, and just delicious---cleanup of oven can be time-consuming if you don't catch grease spatters in foil.

    I had read some of the reviews before trying this recipe - so, I added some extra spices to the flour mixture (garlic seasoning, a little cayenne & some Lawrys seasoned salt. I followed the recipe and ended up with the BEST Fried Chicken ever. More over Col. Sanders!! Will use this recipe over & over.

    I made this last night and thought it was really good and easy. The left over chicken was good today even cold. I will try adding other ingredients next time like garlic or cayenne. Love Ina's show but I wish she had a new show more often.

    I SAW THIS RECEPE THE OTHER DAY AND COULDNOT WAIT TO TRY IT. IT WAS DELICIOUS INCLUDING THE MASHED POTATOES AND APPLE PIE. MY NAME IS BILL AND I AM DOING MOST OF OUR COOKING AS MY WIFE CANNOT COOK MUCH AT ALL RIGHT NOW, I LOOK FORWARD TOINA BAREFOOT CONTESAS DAILY SHOW.
