I saw the video and tried it. I used 1/2 cup sugar each for the outside and inside (1 sheet of puff pastry filling but I find it too sweet, hence giving this 4 stars. It is quick and easy. Next time I will add nuts to add more flavor and will only use 1/4 cup sugar on each sides.

These are simple and delicious! I decided to dip some in bittersweet chocolate and drizzle chocolate over the rest (the latter looked prettier, which, while unconventional, balanced well with sweetness of the caramelized sugar.

This are delicious! At first I thought I folded them wrong, as they were falling over. They cooked beautifully however. I didn't know about the frozen thing. That puff pastry is a mess if you thaw it too long. I will be more watchful next time. As for the sugar, honey too much ain't enough!! I will try what another reviewer did next time and add some melted butter and apricot jam. Yum yum! It's another winner from Ina!!

Thank you Ina for a tasty and simple recipe. I'll never purchase palmiers again. I'm enjoying on a cold winter January day with a cup of coffee. Yummy!

I have made these before and they were always perfectly wonderful; however, trying to cut down on sugar, I used Truvia this time. They turned out sticky, and stayed sticky; I was disappointed, so next time I will use real sugar--maybe that should be noted on the recipe.

Tasty, easy to prep, but a nightmare to bake....you have to be very, very careful with these in the oven. If the sugar burns there is no salvaging these cookies.....and they can burn in a matter of seconds. I literally had raw looking cookies in the oven and by the time I took the baked tray out and put it down on the counter, the tray that looked raw was already burnt! You need to remove them from the oven just as they begin to brown on the second side. You can also severely burn your fingers if you touch the hot sugar...flip with a cookie spatula and another spatula so you don't have to touch anything.

These palmiers are wonderful! They look so elegant and special. I have made them on several occaions and they were well received each time. One of the gentlemem in our wine/supper club actually asked if he could take some home with him! Now that's a sign of a successful recipe!

These are great for those who do not have enough time in their schedule to bake from scratch. It's fast and simple.
As for frozen puff pastry...it's proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy!
