This was very easy to make and tasty. I had no problem with the lemon or the cheese. Next time I will use a baking dish instead of pan as the garlic wouldn't stay on the broccoli and kept falling in the pan, causing it to get overcooked. Other than that I will make this again.

I have made this countless times now. Every time that it comes out of the oven, I have to slap off the hands that try to sample right from the baking sheet. (Sometimes, I get caught and get a hand slap too! I can't get pine nuts at the store I usually shop at. I decided this week to try using sliced, toasted almonds instead. Boy!! I was really shocked and surprised. I LOVE pine nuts, but the price of them is so ridiculously high. There is also something with the pine nuts causing a "metalic-like" after taste that can effect other things you eat lasting for days to weeks. I have heard that most of this side effect comes from the pine nuts out of China. Anyway.... the toasted sliced almonds were perfect and certainly something that I will continue to use as an alternative to the pine nuts. My family LOVES, LOVES this dish! It is also so simple to make, how can you go wrong. If you were at all hesitating to try.... wait NO LONGER! It truly is a dish that will make your mouth water just thinking about it. FANTASTIC!!

There is only one person in this house that likes broccoli and yet I had zero leftovers! I don't usually eat cooked broccoli at all, and even I loved this so much the next day I made another batch and ate a plateful for lunch. Ina, you are a miracle worker. I will make this again and again.

I was looking for a different way to cook up some fresh broccoli for dinner and came across this recipe. I'm so glad I did! The combination of flavors of garlic, lemon and parm were amazing! I didn't have pine nuts so I used sliced toasted almonds for that added crunch. It was wonderful and we could eat this every night!

What a wonderful and easy recipe!

I substituted frozen broccoli/cauliflower pieces and garlic powder. Didn't have pine nuts on hand, but this recipe was perfect without them.

I may never fix them any other way. Thanks, Ina!

I made this to accompany a steak and potatoes I was grilling. I put the broccoli in a roasting pan with some minced garlic and let it roast on indirect heat (but it wasn't really cooking, so I put it over the direct heat and boy did it go quickly!. I tossed the roasted broccoli with toasted pine nuts, lemon zest (and the juice too, and parm, and it was FANTASTIC. My husband loved it so much, he actually licked his plate clean. I will definitely be making this again...and again...and again!

I was looking for something different to make with broccoli tonight and happened on Ina's recipe. It was absolutely delicious! I only had one pound of broccoli, so adjusted the amount of all the ingredients and it turned out wonderfully. I served it with pan-fried tilapia, roasted 'french fries', and corn on the cob. I will definitely make this again!
