This is SO good! I followed the recipe to a "T" and it was an absolute hit! It has such "depth of flavor" (ya Ina, I said it. It's ingredients are familiar enough as to not scare anyone off, yet, the salad turns out to be quite unique. I would eat this again and again and again!!!!!!

This was is my favorite pasta salad ever. I was short on time so I used a store bought pesto, but it was still delicious. I made to take to an outdoor symphony concert picnic and it was easy to make ahead and take in small containers.

Bear in mind - this recipe makes a very large amount, it filled up a huge serving bowl. For just me & my husband it was WAY too much, I will cut recipe in half next time and we'll still probably have leftovers for a couple of days.

This is the best pesto I've made or had. It was extremely creamy, partly due to the mayonnaise, and very filling. My friends loved it and I added extra garlic just because. Delicious!

I LOVE Barefoot Contessa's dishes. This one turned out wonderful. I did make a couple tweaks to move it closer to the healthy side of the scale. I used whole wheat pasta. Also, instead of using only mayo, I subustituted some of the required qty with non-fat plain yogurt. It's still good!

Delicious! The pesto was a little strong with 9 cloves, next time I will cut it in half, and I love garlic. Also, along with the peas, I added calamata olives and sun dried tomatoes. Overall, it was a very good recipe, it will go in my recipe box and Ill use it again for sure.

I used reduced-fat mayo and it worked very well. The pesto is out of this world. Will definitely make this again for company.

My neighbor and I sat and just kept eating. Also gave her some for lunch and another neighbor and we still have left overs. Next time I will roast the pine nuts and maybe add a little shredded rotissarie chicken.

I just did this dish last night for a wine tasting party and I got RAVE REVIEWS from everyone! It was also the BEST PESTO I have ever made... it is worth the time to make it and not use a store bought pesto. The only thing I didn't do to the dish was use 9 cloves of garlic as is called for, I thought it was too much and that was way over the 3 tablespoons it calls for in the recipe- so I only used about 3 or 4 cloves and that was plenty!! THank you Ina for another fabulous dish! Will DEFINITELY MAKE AGAIN AND AGAIN!
